Comfortable bed, good bathroom, central location, helpful staff

Surrounding streets quite noisy - luckily my room was at back away from noisy pubs but had very noisy seagulls waking me up early. The room was quite small - Ok for one person but for two? There was a strange smell coming from outside, a kind of rotting. The honesty minibar was not fully stocked - apparently they don't have their licence yet. I didnt like the idea of no receptionist in the evening - you had to use a nonuser friendly code to get in at night - and suppose my flight had been late and I had arrived after 8?

    cute environment

I loved the charming decor throughout, with beautiful Cole & Son wallpapers and cozy seating areas. The courtyard provided a lovely area where I could relax outdoors.

Improved soundproofing for a quieter stay.

Just a good pick for a short staycation in Bristol with good price-value balance. The breakfast choice was vast and cooked to order. Choose a room facing the courtyard for a quieter stay.
